Export words to CSV
You can download your saved words as a CSV file, on every plan, from the Export button at the bottom of your Word Bank. A CSV file opens in a spreadsheet such as Excel or Google Sheets, and most flashcard apps can import it.
How do I export my words?
- Open your Word Bank. See Library and Word Bank.
- At the bottom, choose Export.
- Choose what to download:
- Croatian words (CSV): the words of the language you’re learning now (the name changes with it).
- All languages (CSV): every word you saved, in every language. It shows when you have words in a language other than the one you’re learning now.
- The file downloads, named for example
stichos_vocab_hr_2026-10-25.csv(one language) orstichos_vocab_2026-10-25.csv(all).
Export is gray until you’ve saved at least one word.
Example
Sarah wants to drill her Croatian words on the bus. She chooses Export, then Croatian words (CSV), and imports the file into her flashcard app.
What’s in the file?
One row per saved word, with these columns:

| Word | The word as you saved it, as it was in the story. |
| Dictionary Form | Its dictionary form, when Stichos knows it. Sometimes empty. |
| Translation | Its meaning. |
| Context Sentence | The sentence you found it in. |
| Word Language | The language of the word, as a short code, such as hr for Croatian. |
| Translation Language | The language of the meaning, as a short code, such as en for English. |
| Date Saved | The day you saved it, such as 2026-10-25. |
The column names follow your Interface language. Words and sentences keep their own alphabet, so Greek or Russian words stay in their own letters.
Can I export to Anki?
There’s no direct Anki export. Anki, like most flashcard apps, can import a CSV file: choose the columns you want for the front and back of each card.
Can I export only some of my words?
Not yet. Export takes every word in the language you choose, or in all languages.
Does Free limit the export?
No. Every word you saved is yours to take, on every plan.
