Library and Word Bank at a glance

Your Library keeps your stories: the ones you saved, under Saved, and the ones you made or opened lately, under Recent. Its Discover tab has stories other learners made at your level. Next to it, your Word Bank keeps the words you save while you read, with their meanings and the sentence you found them in.

The Library and Word Bank sit on either side of the reader.

Open your Library

Plans: all, once you’re signed in

  • On a computer, in the Story Studio: the Library is the card on the left of the reader. If it’s folded into a thin strip, choose the strip (Show Library, with how many stories you saved) to open it. To fold it away, choose Hide Library.
  • On a phone or tablet, in the Story Studio: choose Library in the bar at the bottom of the screen. Choose Reader to go back to your story.
  • Away from the Story Studio: choose the Library button at the top of the app (Open Library). It opens over the page. (It isn’t on Educator Studio pages.)

The Library opens on the Your stories tab. Saved and Recent are sections you can fold and unfold by choosing their names.

Open your Word Bank

The Word Bank works the same way: the card on the right of the reader on a computer, Word Bank in the bottom bar on a phone or tablet, and the Word Bank button at the top of the app (Open Word Bank) away from the Story Studio.

Example

Sarah reads Croatian on her laptop. The Library on the left lists her saved stories, and the Word Bank on the right lists the Croatian words she saved last week.

Are Educator Studio stories in my Library?

No. Stories you write in Educator Studio stay in Educator Studio, under its Stories. Your Library holds stories from the Story Studio, Discover stories you open, and stories a tutor sent you that you chose to save.
